Samuel is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University after earning both a B.SC. (Hons.) and an M. SC. from the University of Toronto. He was called to the bar in 2003 after articling with a prominent national law firm where he used to be a summer student during his studies.
Samuel joined Devry, Smith & Frank LLP in 2010 and currently practices in the areas of commercial litigation, insolvency, debt recovery and employment law. He has extensive experience representing national, regional and local business in a wide range of complex commercial disputes. He has appeared at all levels of court including the Court of Appeal.
Samuel is a member of Canadian Bar Association and he was a Director of the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association.
Samuel enjoys jazz and classical performance (piano and violin) and he is a board member at Toronto Chinese United Church.
