Christopher Statham,

Christopher is a graduate from the University of Toronto (B.A. & M.A in Philosophy) and the University of New Brunswick (LL.B). He was called to the bar in 2011.

While at the University of New Brunswick Christopher, honed his advocacy skills as a participant in the Harrison Shield Competitive Moot and was the recipient of the McInnes Cooper Prize in Trial Practice. Christopher also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, was a tournament winner in the Law Students Society Debate Club, and served as Chair of the Moot Court Board.

Prior joining Devry Smith Frank LLP as a lawyer, Christopher articled with us in 2010-2011 where he gained valuable experience working with our insurance defence, commercial litigation, banking and recovery groups. Christopher has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court and the Ontario Ministry of Labour.

Christopher is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Toronto Lawyers Association.

In his spare time, Christopher enjoys music and cycling.
