Christopher Statham,
B.A.H., M.A., LL.B.

Articling Student

Christopher is a graduate from the University of Toronto (B.A.H & M.A in Philosophy) and most recently the University of New Brunswick (LL.B). He is currently serving as DSF’s 2010-2011 articling student.

Christopher has a strong academic standing with the University of Toronto and has managed to achieve his M.A. in philosophy with a coveted Graduate Fellowship scholarship. He has been selected as one of four students out of a list of promising candidates to participate in the Harrison Shield Competitive Moot at the University of New Brunswick. In addition, Christopher has undergone Trial Practice courses at UNB to further prepare for his future as an advocate.

This will be Christopher’s first year with DSF, having just come back from New Brunswick to his native Toronto.

Throughout his law school career, Christopher volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, was a tournament winner in the Law Students Society Debate Club, and served as Chair of the Moot Court Board. He is also a member of the Poverty Law Society and enjoys playing intramural softball.
