Larry has practiced in the area of commercial collections and recovery for over sixteen years.
In the early years of his practice, Larry worked primarily for bank clients on secured and unsecured collection and recovery matters. Since 1997 Larry has become the head of the DSF commercial litigation group and the managing partner of the firm. Larry’s practice has evolved into a broad commercial litigation practice which includes: banking recovery litigation, shareholder disputes and oppression matters, commercial landlord and tenant litigation, leasing disputes, real estate and mortgage litigation, title insurance litigation, fraud litigation, receivership and insolvency, wrongful dismissal and employment law, franchisor and franchisee litigation, construction lien litigation, injunctions, estate litigation, partnership litigation, commercial contract disputes and collections.

Larry’s clients include a broad range of individuals, corporations and institutions. Currently, some of the largest commercial landlords, insurers and public companies in the GTA retain Larry for their collection matters and legal needs generally.
Larry has appeared on countless motions, applications, examinations, trials and other civil matters. Larry has broad courtroom experience, having appeared many Ontario courts including: the Small Claims Court of Ontario, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court in Ontario and the Ontario Court of Appeal on numerous motions, applications, trials and appeals. Larry has also appeared in non-court settings such as arbitrations and mediations. Larry has also appeared before many tribunals including: the Financial Services Commission, the Work Place Safety and Insurance Tribunal and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
Larry earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and he holds an Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Brandon University.
