Lawrence Hansen joined the firm in 2005 after a year studying Spanish and living in South America and Mexico. Since his 1998 call to the Bar in Ontario, Lawrence has worked exclusively in litigation, acting for individuals, businesses and large corporations. His practice embraces a broad range of commercial, insurance and other litigation, including debt recovery, employment disputes, oppression matters, construction lien, injunctions, personal injury as well as cases involving fraud and arson, property insurance claims, policy coverage disputes and subrogation.

A graduate of the National Programme at McGill University’s Faculty of Law, Lawrence earned both a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) in 1995. He started his career at a leading firm of civil litigators in Montreal and relocated to Toronto in 1998.
