David was called to the Bar in 2004, after completing his Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Windsor in 2002. He also received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Criminology from the University of Windsor in 1999.

David articled and practiced at a litigation firm in Hamilton, Ontario before joining Devry Smith Frank in November of 2005. He has experience in a variety of litigation areas and has appeared as counsel before both judge and jury in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He has also appeared and argued before the Court of Appeal for Ontario. In addition, David has frequently attended as counsel at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as well as several other Boards and Tribunals, including the Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal and the Pension Appeal Board.

His current practice focuses on plaintiff personal injury matters, where he represents people who have suffered injuries arising from motor vehicle collisions, slip and falls, dog bites and assaults. David also handles no-fault accident benefit claims and health and disability claims on behalf of individuals who are injured or disabled.

David also practices criminal and quasi-criminal law, defending individuals and corporations charged with all manner of offences. He has successfully represented those charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80, as well as those charged with offences under The Highway Traffic Act.

In addition to being a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, David was called to the New York State Bar in 2004. He is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Advocates’ Society and the New York State Bar Association.
