Toronto Employee Law lawyer Christopher Statham is a graduate of the University of Toronto (B.A. & M.A in Philosophy) and the University of New Brunswick (LL.B). He completed his articles with Devry Smith Frank LLP was called to the bar in 2011.

As a lawyer who has gained experience providing advice and litigation support to both employers and employees, Christopher is able to offer knowledgeable and practical perspective on resolving employment disputes for employees. He frequently acts for employees in wrongful dismissal litigation as well as matters involving bullying and harassment in the workplace, accommodation and disability claims under the Ontario Human Rights Code, termination package negotiations and post-employment obligations.

Christopher strongly believes in protecting the best interests of his clients through a combination of practical legal advice and a proactive approach to litigation, always striving to resolve his clients’ legal issues in a pragmatic and cost-effective manner.

Christopher frequently appears before Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has also appeared before the Small Claims Court, the Ontario Ministry of Labour and the Tax Court of Canada.
