Discriminated Against? Victim of Bullying or Harassment?

If you have been discriminated against or are a victim of bullying or harassment, it is wise to consult with a human rights lawyer so that you can learn about your rights and how to protect them.

The Human Rights Code and the Canadian Human Rights Act prohibit discrimination based on several grounds, including but not limited to disability, race, religion and place of origin in the employment, services and accommodation contexts.

Bill 168, which recently amended the Occupation Health and Safety Act, requires employers to have a policy to prevent workplace violence and harassment. In the employment context, “harassment” is defined as conduct that the perpetrator knows, or ought to know, is unwelcome to the victim.

We can help with all human rights matters, including cases involving discrimination, bullying and harassment.
