Lianne joined our Insurance Defence and Plaintiff Groups in 2014 soon after her call to the Ontario Bar in 2014. She is a graduate of McMaster University (B.A. in Political Science) and Osgoode Hall Law School (J.D.) At Osgoode, Lianne was actively involved in the Osgoode community, serving as co-president of the Jewish Law Students Association and volunteering as a duty counsel with the Community and Legal Aid Services Program.

After summering with Devry Smith Frank LLP (“DSF”) following her second year of law school, Lianne worked at DSF as a Student at Law. During Lianne’s time as a summer student, she had the opportunity to closely assist on and attend a trial, an experience that piqued her interest in litigation, especially in the practice areas of insurance defence and personal injury. Those interests were further reinforced during her time as a Student at Law, during which she gained invaluable experience working primarily for both the Insurance Defence and Personal Injury practice groups at DSF.

Lianne is an avid traveller, and has journeyed across Canada, Israel, and the United States as well as to multiple countries in Europe and Southeast Asia. During law school, Lianne also attended the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, for a semester exchange, as well as the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, for a summer exchange.
