Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Windsor where she received her Honours B.A. in Criminology. She obtained her LL.B. in 2001 from the University of Ottawa.
Following her articling year at Devry Smith Frank LLP, Jennifer was called to the bar in October 2002. Jennifer became a partner in 2011.
Following her call to the Bar, Jennifer has gained extensive experience in the areas of personal injury and insurance litigation. Her expertise encompasses claims involving bodily injury arising from motor vehicle accidents including no fault accident benefits claims, as well as slip and falls, assaults, occupier’s liability and health and disability claims. Jennifer has litigated claims involving psychological and emotional trauma, fatalities, acquired brain injuries as well as orthopedics and whiplash type injuries.
Jennifer is well known for her proactive and practical approach to claims. She ensures that her clients receive timely service and individual attention.
Jennifer has extensive experience in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She also has broad experience with the Workplace Safety Insurance Board and has appeared before the Workplace Safety and Appeals Tribunal. She has assisted with both jury and non-jury trials. Finally, Jennifer has acted as counsel at countless private mediations including mediations of accident benefits claims at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.
