Toronto lawyer Rosemary Gallo joined Devry Smith Frank LLP (“DSF”) in 2016, after practicing at a boutique family law firm. Rosemary practices in all areas of family law and has particular expertise working on complex matters involving child protection, custody and access. She has appeared before a number of courts and tribunals, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada.
Rosemary was called to the Bar in Ontario in June 2014 after completing a J.D. from the University of Ottawa’s French common law program, where she studied law in both French and English. While in law school, Rosemary worked as a civil caseworker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic and as National Coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada.
Prior to attending law school, she earned a Bachelor of Philosophy from the University of British Columbia. She also worked for a provincial not-for-profit organization that works to promote access to justice in French in British Columbia, mainly through legal terminology training, publication of legal information materials and community education.
